Mrs. Anderson, 95, Dies; Rites Held Wednesday
Mrs. Ann Anderson, 95, of Estherville, died at 3:30 a.m. today at her home. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Anderson home and at 2 p.m. at the Presbyterian church at Gruver with the Rev. Albert Hustad officiating.

Ann Elizabeth Peterson was born in Holbeck, Denmark, Dec. 13, 1848, and came to America in 1867. The family settled in Butler county and in 1971 Miss Peterson was married to Lars P. Anderson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Danish Lutheran church. The couple settled near Grundy Center and lived there until 1893 when they came to Emmet county to make their home.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by three daughters, Anna, living at home, Mrs. Carrie Rathman of Washington, D.C. and Mrs. Emma Peterson of Sioux City and five sons, Andrew and Nels of Lisbon, N.D., William of Walcot, N.D., and James of Warren, Ore., and Thorvald of Estherville, also 36 [56?] grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
