AMSTERDAM EVENING RECORDER, MONDAY, JUNE 8 1925

Fort Plain, June 8 — Elbridge Nellis, aged 63, a life long resident of Stone Arabia, died at his home in that place Friday evening at 9 o'clock, after a short illness. He was born in the town of Palatine in 1863 and always followed the occupation of farming. He is survived by his wife, who was formerly Agnes Winsman; two children, Frank and George; three brothers, Charles of the town of Palatine, Isaac Holland, also of the town of
Palatine, and Emmett Nellis of Johnstown; one sister, Mary Soules, also of Johnstown. The funeral was held this afternoon at 1 o'clock, standard time, at the First Reformed
church of Ephratah, the Rev. Mr. Mansel officiating. Interment was in the Ephratah Rural Cemetery.
