LeRoy Keetch Mecham, 88, died May 16, 1992 in American Fork.

He was born December 3, 1903 on Provo Bench to Amasa Lyman and Jeanette Keetch Mecham. He married Ethel Warnick June 2, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He attended schools in Lindon and Pleasant Grove. He worked as a electrician on the Salt Lake and Utah Railroads until 1932. He worked for U.S. Fuel in Carbon Co. for 11 years and Utah Power & Light in American Fork for 25 years. Active member of the LDS Church, served as a Branch Counselor and President, in the Young Mens Program and High Priest Group Leader. With his wife served in the Arizona Holbrock mission and a mission to the Manti Temple Visitors Center. They also served as Provo Temple Workers.

Survived by his wife of American Fork, two sons, Paul and Richard of American Fork, and a daughter Mrs. Blaine (Jeanette) Johnson, Homestead, Florida. 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork 5th Ward, 381 South 300 East. Friends may call at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday at the Church one hour prior to services. Burial in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
