Patricia Ann "Pat" Alexander, 69, died on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at the Rutland Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.
She was born on June 20, 1941, in Rutland, the daughter of Charles and Hazel (Conway) Howland.
She attended local schools.
She married Robert P. Alexander on April 3rd, 1976.
Mrs. Alexander was employed by Tambrands for 12 years and then with General Electric for 17 years prior to retiring in 1995.
She enjoyed crafts, bingo and going to the casino in Saratoga.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Robert of Rutland; a son, Paul Peterson of Portland, Maine; two daughters, Holly Alexander and Krista Alexander, both of Rutland; four sisters, Margaret Mangan and Dawn Alexander, both of Rutland, Donna Martin of South Wardsboro and Charlene Plude of Hudson Falls, N.Y.; two grandsons, Cody and Chase Morton; many nieces and nephews; and two very special family members, Terry Morton and Jody Wood.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Anna Collier and Margie Olney; and two brothers, Francis Howland and Robert Lancour.
There will be no calling hours.
Funeral services will be held on 1 p.m. Monday, January 24th, 2011, at the Aldous Funeral Home in Rutland.
