John Albert Allen, age 84, passed away January 27, 2008 at his residence in Arcadia, Missouri.
He was born January 26, 1924 in Arcadia to Jesse Franklin Allen and Trannie (Jones) Allen.
On November 13, 1942 he was united in marriage to Glenda (Brawley) Allen, who preceded him in death on July 3, 2004. He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Doris Elaine, and one brother, Jesse Allen, Jr..
Surviving are: one brother, Lyle Allen and wife, Sonja of St. Peters, Missouri; 4 nieces and 7 nephews; other family members, and a host of friends.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 30th, at 10:00 AM at the White Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Mark Sutton officiating. Interment will be in the K. of P. Cemetery in Ironton. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 29th, from 5-8 PM at the White Funeral Home in Ironton.
