On Friday last as Chester Addis was getting into a wagon, opposite Mrs. Barker's residence in West St., he slipped and fell, when the horse started and the ind wheel of the wagon passed over Mr. A., injuring him about the hip and back. Fortunately no bones were broken, and he will be around again in a few days.

Will of the Late Judge Seymour.
The will of the late Judge O.S. Seymour has been proved. It gives his widow the use of his homestead for life; a legacy of $2,000, all his stock and all the furniture in the homestead, absolutely. Mr. Chester Addis, of Litchfield is given the life use of the house and garden he now occupies free of rent. The remainder of his property is given to his three sons (making allowances for an advancement od $5,000 to Mr E. W.

Chester Addis, father of Editor E. W. Addis, of the Brewsters (N.Y) Standard, died in Litchfield the 22d let, aged 58. He was not father of Editor Addis of the Windsor Locks Journal, as some of our exchanges have reported.
