Frank A. Serrer, 74, of 2827 E. Fifth st., died at 3:30 a.m. Friday at his residence after a long illness.
A life resident of Dayton, he had been a floor manager at the Rike-Kumler Co. 28 years. He was a member of the Holy Name society of Holy Name church and the Catholic Knights of Ohio.
Surviving are his wife, Lily; four daughters, Mrs. Bernice Ziaukas and Mrs. Mary Jane Kurtz of Dayton, Mrs. Katherine Conway of Cleveland and Mrs. Betty Potts of Florida; four sons, Robert, Frank, James and Richard of Dayton; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Folz of Dayton and Mrs. Clara Lindner of Cincinnati, and 34 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Hoyne Funeral home, 1817 E. Third st., and at 9 a.m. at Holy Family church. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Monday.
