"Marjorie Bailey, 94, Plainville, died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at Rooks County Health Center, Plainville.
She was born June 20, 1915 in Ness City to Roy and Anna (Jensen) Baer. She graduated from Ness City High School and from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in 1937.
She married Bernice C. "Fat" Bailey on Sept. 15, 1938 in Plainville. He preceded her in death March 8, 1969.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffery, Casper, Wyo. and Craig, Fort Worth, Texas; a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Plainville United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service Wednesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Rooks County Health Center or Plainville Memorial Public Library and may be sent in care of the Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel, 409 S. Cochran, Plainville, KS 67663.
