Mrs. Kemna dies at age 71 Mrs. Sophie R Kemna, 71, Kansas City, Kan., a St Elizabeth native, died Wednesday at Providence. St Margarets Hospital, Kansas City, Kan. She was born Sept. 1,1905, at St Elizabeth, a daughter of Jacob and Margaret Wyedinger. On June 25,1934, she was married at St Elizabeth to Conrad J. Kemna, who survives at- the home. Mrs. Kemna lived in St Louis for a time before moving to Kansas City, Kan., 43 years ago. She was a member of St Peter Cathedral, Altar Society, Legion of Mary, Sisters Servants of Mary Guild and Providence St Margarets Hospital Guild, all in Kansas City, Kan. Survivors include: Four sisters, Miss Rose Wyedinger and Mrs. Jenne Jurgensmeyer both of Columbia, Mrs Kate Doyle, Freeburg and Mrs. Lizzie Redel, Vienna; and one brother, Phillip Wyedinger, Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at St Lawrence Catholic Church, St Elizabeth with the Rev. John Byrne officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. A rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. today at Stevinson Funeral Home, St Elizabeth. Memorial contrbutions have been suggested to the Sisters Servants of Mary Guild or Providence St Margarets Hospital.
