MARLOW — June 16, 1927 — Jan. 13, 2011

Hubert Blalock, 83 of Marlow, passed away Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011 at Duncan Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, 2011 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tracy Wilson officiating, interment will be at the Hope Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Hubert was born June 16, 1927 at Marlow to Steven and Molly "Wilson" Blalock, he was a member of the VFW in Clayton, N.M. and the Moose Lodge in California, he was a retired baker from Interstate Brand and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Hubert married Frances Graves in 1952 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Survivors include his wife; Frances of the home, a brother; Bill Blalock of Marlow, a sister; Betty Nowlin of Duncan, two special nephews; Wes Blalock of Shawnee and Steve Blalock of Velma, several great nieces and nephews and his cat Mitzi.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
