Lyle C. Roberts, 86, of Missouri Valley died Nov. 28 at the
Longview Care Center in Missouri Valley. He was born June 12, 1916, to David
M. and Meda E. (Richardson) Roberts in Loveland.
He graduated from Missouri Valley High School in 1935 and married Dorothy
Hearn the same year.
He was a farmer, artist and musician.
Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter, Janet Sandwich and
husband, Brian, of Phoenix; two sons, Lynn and wife, Suzanne, of Phoenix,
Bruce and wife, Shirley, of Loveland; five grandchildren, nine
great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be 7 to 8 p.m Sunday at Hennessey-Aman
Funeral Home in Missouri Valley.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home
with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Garden in Missouri Valley.
