ARTHUR L. TERIBURY

CANDOR--Arthur LeRoy Teribury, 77, of Tuttle Hill Rd., Candor, died in Tioga General Hospital in Waverly on Sunday, Feb. 22, 1970 after a short illness.
He was born in Coudersport, Pa., on May 12, 1892, son of the late Warren and Lillian Dean Teribury, and had been a woodworker for the Mapes Chair Factory in Whitesville prior to retirement. He was a member of the War Dads of Arden Kelsey American Legion in Candor. His late wife was Jennie Carson Teribury.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Foster, Mrs. Leola Hoyt and Mrs. Barbara Updyke, all of Candor, Mrs. Beatrice Jeffers of Belmont, Mrs. Beverly Quick of Greenwood, and Mrs. Jessie Baldwin of Wellsville; two sons, Arthur W. of Berkshire and Frederick L. Teribury of Barton; 46 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and cousins.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Allen Funeral Home, Candor. The Rev. Maxwell B. Courage of St. Mark's Episcopal Church will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
