FAYETTE--Robert Keith Mellor, 71, died Saturday, January 6, 1996.
He was born June 26, 1924 in Manti, Utah to Elgin and Maurine Mellor. He married Carol Jensen January 4, 1944. He served his Country in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He enjoyed and worked hard at his occupation of stockman and farmer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
He is survived by his wife, Carol, of Fayette; daughter, Mrs. Steven (Arleen) Higgins, Gunnison; son, Garth (Karen) Mellor, Murray; three grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. Clyde (Jean) Rosenvall, and Mrs. Arlos (Doris) Jensen; brother, Kent Mellor, all of Gunnison.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 10, 1996 at 12 noon in the Fayette Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the chapel Tuesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment in the Gunnison City Cemetery with Military Honors under the direction of the Warren R. Jensen Funeral Home.
