Emma Schwandt
Mrs. Emma Anna Schwandt, 85, a resident of Markesan, died at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept 7, 1888, at Salemsville, Green lake County, the daughter of Herman and Julia Schadocdt Hinz. She was married to August Schwandt on Oct. 29, 1914, and he proceeded her in death.
Mrs. Schwandt is survived by three sons, Raymond of Phoenix, Ariz., and Gordon and Floyd both of Markesan; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Mohr of Cambria, Mrs. Otto Platt of Manchester and Mrs Victor Kostruch of Waukesha.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church, near Markesan. Pastor Egbert Albrecht will officiate and burial will be in Manchester Cemetery.
