EMMA NETTIE CONNER

Emma Nettie Conner of Monroe died Aug. 27, 1991 at Walton County Hospital. She was 80.

She was born in Walton County on March 19, 1911, daughter of the late David Chancey and the late Lucy Sorrells Chancey. She was a member of The Monroe First Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Aug. 29 at The Monroe First Baptist Church with Dr.Jim Ramsey and the Rev. Cliff Jett officiating. Interment was in Rest Haven Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Walt Harber, Robert Creighton, David Conner, Jeffrey "Bo" Conner, Myron Batchelor and Goebel Berry.

She is survived by her husband, Mell Conner, son: Mr and Mrs Jimmy D (Anne) Conner of Monroe; granddaughter; Toni Carper of Monroe, grandsons, David Conner of Monroe and Jeffrey "Bo" of Camp LeJeune; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Christin Carper, both of Monroe.

Meadows Funeral Home, Inc was in charge of the arrangements.
