Funeral services for Paul Brown Daniel, 69, 408 N.W. 25th Street, will be Wednesday, Aug. 1, 3:00 p.m. at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel, with Gary Williams officiating, assisted by Garland Lipe and Roland McMinn. Interment will be in Sturdivant Cemetery. Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner is in charge of arrangements.

Daniel died Monday, July 30, 5:23 a.m. in a local nursing home. He was born August 26, 1909 at Carlsbad, New Mexico. He came to Mineral Wells in 1910, was a retired civil service supply clerk at Ft. Wolters, a World War II veteran, U.S. Army, and a member of the American Legion. He was a member of the Sturdivant Church of Christ. Beatrice McMinn and he were married August 27, 1933 in Mineral Wells.

The family will meet at Mr. and Mrs. John Hampton's home at 804 N.W. 11th Street the day of the funeral. Pallbearers will be nephews.

Survivors include his wife: Beatrice McMinn Daniel, Mineral Wells; two brothers: Sherwood Daniel, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Vernon Daniel, Las Vegas, Nevada; four sisters: Louise Ware, Los Angeles, Calif., Hazel Warren, Breckenridge, Verna Edgmon, Fort Worth, Margaret Bean, Hurst; a number of nieces and nephews. - obituary
