Graveside services for Lila Helmstetler McMinn, 83, of Mineral Wells will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 16 in the Sturdivant Cemetery. Kenneth McMinn will officiate, with Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McMinn died Tuesday, May 14, 1996 at a local nursing home. She was born Oct. 18, 1912 in Millwood in Collin County, the daughter of Denton and Lovie Vaught Helmstetler.

She came to Mineral Wells in 1989 and was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived locally by a sister: Bonnie Davis of Mineral Wells. Also numerous nephews and nieces.

Mrs. McMinn was preceded in death by son Tommy Joe McMinn; brother Denton Helmstetler, Jr.; and sisters Dorothy Hunley and Kathryn Lasater. - obituary
