OBITUARY
COLORADO CITY -- Peggy Sue (Bodine) Ratliff, 66, of Colorado City, died Wednesday in Abilene.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kay Reed officiating. Burial will be in Colorado City Cemetery directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ratliff was born April 24, 1931, just north of Colorado City in Buford, where she married Bob Ratliff on Dec. 24, 1951. She taught school in Austin, Loraine, Colorado City and Westbrook before retiring. She was active in First United Methodist Church, and was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, the Retired Teachers Association, and several other clubs and associations.

Survivors include her husband, Bob, of Colorado City; one daughter, Kathy Beene of Houston; one son, Mike Ratliff of Colorado City; one sister, Aldred Pickens of Nocona; and three grandchildren.

Donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, the Heart of West Texas Museum or the American Cancer Society.
