SAMUEL MORGART - Samuel Morgart, of near Rainsburg, died Wednesday night (Feb. 7, 1901). He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Morgart and was born in Friend's Cove about sixty-eight years ago. He was twice married. His first wife, Sarah Beard, died about fifteen years ago. A few years ago he was united in marriage to Mrs. Jane McClellan, who, with several children, survives him. He is also survived by three brothers and two sisters; Perry and Benjamin, of Colerain township; Frank, of near Schellsburg; Mrs. Mary Buchanan, of Iowa, and Mrs. Rebecca Evans, of Chicago. With the exception of a few years, when he lived in Cumberland Valley, the deceased resided in Friend's Cove all his lifetime. He was a farmer by occupation. In politics he was a Democrat.
