Engemann, Jennie L. 84, of Rothbury, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2005 in Muskegon. She was born September 12, 1920 in Rothbury, the daughter of Rudolph Danicek and Hedwig "Hattie" Swarosky Danicek. She married Robert Engemann on May 9, 1942. He passed away May 26, 1975. Mrs. Engemann was a lifelong resident of Rothbury with the exception of a short time when she was with her husband while he was in the military. She was employed as a clerk at the Rothbury Post Office from 1953 until 1992. Mrs. Engemann was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church and its Altar Society. She is survived by her son, Timothy Engemann of Rothbury; grandchildren, Lauri (Ken) Rader, Matthew (Donna) Engemann, Sarah Engemann, Nichole Engemann, and Timothy Engemann II; and six great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas Engemann; brother, Rudolph Danicek, Jr.; and sister, Mildred Usiak. Visitation will be Monday, January 24, 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home with the rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass for Mrs. Engeman will be held Tuesday, January 25, 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Rothbury with Father Phillip Witkowski as Celebrant To find the church take the Rothbury-Winston Road exit and go east about 1 mile. The church is on the left (north) side of the road between US31 and Oceana Drive. Interment: Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Rothbury. Memorials to Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church Building Fund are appreciated.
