RIO — Mrs. Earl Bennett, 87, died Tuesday (Apr. 20, 1971) in a Columbus hospital after a long illness.

The former Ida Jenkins was born in Cambria. Her husband died in 1944. She was a member of the Union Congregational Church.

Surviving in Madison is a daughter, Mrs. Jay Bradley, 814 Redland Dr.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joe Dann, Rio; four sisters, Mrs. Jennie Schmidt, Susan Jenkins, Mrs. Lola Martin, and Mrs. James Harmes, all of Fall River; a brother, Edward, Randolph; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in the church. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Thompson-Kellogg Funeral Home.
