Harry Gregory Barney, 80, of 110 Main street, Richeyville, died Friday, August 7, 1964, in Brownsville General Hospital.
Mr. Barney was born in Austria Hungary, December 3, 1883, a son of Theodore and Mary Maleski Barney. He was a member of Holy Resurrection Russian Orthodox Church, West Brownsville, and a member of St. Peter and Paul Lodge of California. He resided in .... from 1906-1928, and for the past 36 years he has resided in California. He was a retired miner ana a member of U.M.W.A. Local of Vesta No 4, where he worked for 39 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Krynak Barney, who died October 10, 1959.
He is survived by these children, Mildred at home; Theodore of Poland, Ohio; Olga of Des Plaines, Ill., Mrs. Judy Strickland of Dallas, Tex., John of Hagerstown, Md.; Mrs. Eve Sheetz of Arlington, Va; and Joyce of San Antonio, Tex.; one brother, Joseph of Klimkowka, Poland; and three grandchildren, Mary Beth Barney; John Edward Barney; and Stuart Gene Strickland.
