Mrs. Amelia Balliet Polk, aged 65 of Beisel's Corner died at 11:45 P.M. yesterday following a brief illness. She was a member of St. Johns Reformed church at St. Johns, the Queen Esther Bible Class and the Ladies Aid Society of the church. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Henry Smith, Nevin Polk, Henry Polk and Victor Polk, all of Drums. Two sisters, Mrs. M. Eckrote, of Bloomsburg and Mrs. Annie Rosemerski, of Williamsport, also survives. The funeral will take place on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from her late home at Beisel's Corner. Interment will be made in St. Johns cemetery.
