Steve, 64, a former resident of Santa Clara, died Friday of a massive heart attack. Steve was a founding member and guitarist of the California surf party band, 'Papa Doo Run Run' and then went on to form 'The Soundbytes.' In addition to performing up to 200 dates a year around the world, Steve performed with PDRR at Disneyland throughout the '80s. For his work with PDRR, Steve earned a gold record and a Grammy nomination. Steve is survived by his wife, Denyse, daughters, Alex, and Geneve, and sisters, Sharon, Denise, Margaret, and Deborah.
