Frank H. Goode Funeral Sunday
Funeral services for Frank H. Goode, 81, of Crab Orchard, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Crap Orchard Baptist Church with the Rev. Shirley Donnelly officiating.
Goode died in a local hospital at 2 p.m. Thursday after a short illness. Burial will be made in the Mount Tabor Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 4, 1872 at New Found, a son of Lumuel and Tibitha Ramey Goode, both deceased. He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church at Crab Orchard. He was a retired farmer and had lived at Crab Orchard for the past 56 years.
Survivors include one son, the Rev. James L. Goode of Crab Orchard; four daughtes, Mrs. Lovie Tincher of Cabell Heights, Mrs. Vada Harris and Miss Hettie Good, both of Crab Orchard and Mrs. Ola Good of Pineville; three brothers, G. P. Goode of Pineville, O. G. Goode of Binson, Va. and Roscoe Goode of Saulsville, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Clay and Mrs. Mary Hasley, both of Saulsville and Mrs. Judy McKinney of Mount Hope, 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The body will be removed from the Calfee Funeral Home to the residence at 2 p.m. Saturday where it will remain until the funeral hour.
