Lois L. Cockrum, age 78 of Gassville, Arkansas passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 in Mountain Home. She was born June 9, 1932 in Gassville, Arkansas to E.T. and Mildred (Rogers) Morris.

Mrs. Cockrum married Bob J. Cockrum June 9, 1948 in Mountain Home. She was a member of the Gassville Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, and a beloved mother, grandmother and sister.

Mrs. Cockrum is survived by three sons: Bob Cockrum Jr. and wife Lou and Burnie Cockrum and wife Gail both of Mountain Home and Bennie Cockrum and wife Wendy of Wichita, Kansas, two daughters: Belinda Holzhauser and husband Bill of Gassville and Beverly Wilhite and husband Hulen of Mountain Home, two sisters: Melba Brandon and Carol Tilley both of Gassville, two brothers: Oscar Morris of Webb City, Missouri and Bernie Morris of Fort Smith, Arkansas, twelve grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother.

Graveside services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with Brother Gary Wise officiating.
