Donald Richard Saunders, age 70 of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away March 15, 2009 at his residence. He was born to Thomas Wayne and Eva Grace (Canal) Saunders April 26, 1938 in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He served in the United States Marine Corp. His occupation had been a truck driver. He was raised in the Catholic Church.

He is survived by two daughters- Karen Gentry and husband Dan of Karney, Nebraska and Donna Saunders of North Platte, Nebraska; and one son- Mike Saunders and wife Rachel of Hominy; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

His parents preceded him in death.

A Rosary for Donald was March 20, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. with Father Bruce Brosnahan officiating.

Interment will be in the A.J. Powell Cemetery.
