Oscar Ezekiel Easley was the son of Singleton "Fate" LaFayette Easley and Annie Virginia Morris.
He married Grace Skelton, daughter of James Robertos Skelton and Sally Ophelia Lattimore, in 1929 at the beginning of the Great Depression.
