Mrs. Ada May McBain, 929 Michigan street, died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday in Pawating hospital, after an illness of several years. She had been a patient at the hospital since June 15, 1948.
Surviving are her husband, Marion; children, Mrs. Otto Everman, Everett, Joe, Ray and George McBain, and Mrs. George Hempel, all of Niles. Surviving brothers are Clarence Kelley, of New Carlisle, Ind., and Cecil Kelley, Laporte, Ind. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McBain was born on June 11, 1894, in Laporte county, Ind., and came here from New Carlisle, Ind., 32 years ago.
Friends may call at the residence. Services were conducted today in the Kiger funeral home by the Rev. L. George Beacock. Burial was in Silverbrook cemetery. Mrs. McBain was a member of of the First Methodist church.
