OBITUARY: Evelyn Pearl Baker Yinger ,88, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Laurels of Bedford in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was born February 6, 1922 in Albion to Leslie and Mamie (Avery) Baker. On May 2, 1943 in Byran, Ohio she married Carl E. Yinger who preceded her in death in 1983. Evelyn was a Secretary for the Alternative Education Class with the Albion Public Schools for 20 plus years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Albion, Vivian's Society of the Albion Elk's Lodge # 1798. Evelyn is survived by her children Susan Yinger of Albion ; Karen (Keith) Bonham of Albion; Ken (Maggie) Yinger of Bergland; Thomas Yinger of Cummings, Georgia; Rick Yinger of Albion, ten grandchildren, twenty three Great Grandchildren; sister Frances (Jack) Walker of Cabot, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl ; three brothers ; four sisters. Arrangements J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home.
