LAID TO REST
Stark [MN] has again lost one of its old pioneers in the passing on Sunday morning, January 24, [1926] of P G Anderson. Mr Anderson's health had been failing for the last two years and he had been confined to his bed since Thanksgiving.
Deceased was born in Borgsjo Parish, Vester Norland Lane Medelpar, Sweden, October 12, 1948 [sic - 1848] and was at his death 77 years, 3 months, and 12 days of age.
He came to America with his parents at the age of twenty-one and settled in the town of Fish Lake where he has since been an active member in church and community affairs. Mr Anderson became a member of the Lutheran church here in 1895. He was also a charter member of the Men's Society, his death leaving only two charter members living.
Funeral service were held at the home at one o'clock Sunday, January 31 and at 1:30 at the Lutheran church. His intimate friends were honor bearers. They were pioneers and had struggled through many hardships together in this vicinity, calling upon each other in the exchange of help and other needs.
Mr Anderson leaves to mourn his departure from this life his wife, Mary Frances Anderson, four children; Loureena, Myrtle, and Kinley at home and Mrs W E Johnson of Cambridge, a brother A A Anderson of Rush City, other relatives and many friends who join in extending their sympathy to the bereaved family in the loss of their loving husband and father.
