On the 1880 Walkers Creek, Rockbridge Co., VA census, I found carpenter Thomas Supinger, 17, living with carpenter Samuel Little, 38 and his family of 5. Thomas and both parents were born in VA.

1897, 2nd marriage: Thos F Supinger (age 35), the son of mother "R A Supinger," on 30 Dec 1897 in Augusta Co., VA, married Julia Olive Hutton, the daughter of G P and Mary E Hutton, born 1872 in Rockbridge Co., VA. Thos and Julia were both born in Rockbridge Co., VA.

On the 1900 Walkers Creek, Rockbridge Co., VA census, I found Thomas A Supinger, 36, Mar 1864, married "14 years" (total w 1st wife) and "2 years" to wife Julia H Supinger, 26, Oct 1873 had 2 kids, both living; sons or daughters: Mary E Supinger, 13, Apr 1887; Samuel N Supinger, 11, Jul 1888; William B Supinger, 10, Nov 1889; Bessie L Supinger, 9, Mar 1891; Clyde C Supinger, 5, Dec 1896; Ruth F Supinger, 1, Feb 1899 and Beula H Supinger, 4/12, Jan 1900, all VA born.

1905: Mr. T F Supinger of Walker's Creek, was allowed $300 for loss sustained by the burning of his barn and contents October 7th, and his policy was ordered to be cancelled. On the 1910 Walkers Creek, Rockbridge Co., VA census, I found farmer and home owner, Thomas F Supinger, 47, on 2nd marriage, married 12 years to wife Julia O Supinger, 37, on 1st marriage, had 9 kids, 7 living; Samuel M Supinger, 21; William B Supinger, 20; Bessie L Supinger, 19; Clyde C Supinger, 13; Ruth F Supinger, 11; Beulah H Supinger, 10; Louise H Supinger, 7; Charles Mc Supinger, 5; Edith P Supinger, 3; Virginia S Supinger, 1 6/12 and Helen G Supinger, 1/12, all VA born. They lived at 280 Dutch Hallow Road.

On the 1920 Walkers Creek, Rockbridge Co., VA census, I found farmer
Thomas Supinger, 56; wife Calie (Julia) H Supinger, 46; sons or daughters: teacher Ruth Supinger, 20; Bulah Supinger, 19; Louise Supinger, 17; Charles Supinger, 15; Edith Supinger, 13; Virginia Supinger, 11; Helen Supinger, 9; Elizabeth Supinger, 8; boarder Frank Alexander, 85 or 55; son Chas Supinger, 15, all VA born.

On the 1930 Walkers Creek, Rockbridge Co., VA census, I found farmer Thomas F Supinger, 67; wife Julia H Supinger, 57; Son-in-law Dallas W Price, 25; daughter Elizabeth S Price, 18 and Granddaughter Ruby C Price, 4/12, all VA born. Thos was 22 and Julia was 25 at first marriage. Elizabeth's husband Dallas W Price would died one year later, in 1931. By the 1940 census, she was married to Jesse A McCray, and it lists 4 children: Estella Price, 10; Betty Joe Price, 9; Willis McCray, 4 and Wilton McCray, 2, all VA born. She is buried with her 1st husband Dallas and Jesse McCray is buried with his 1st wife, Pearl who died in 1928, at the same cemetery. Jesse's 1942 draft registration lists "wife Elizabeth Supinger McCray."

Willia, Boliver Supinger was born 11 Nov 1889 in Rockbridge Co., VA, to parents Thomas F Supiner and Emma Reed. He was a general merchandise merchant and married to Ocie Supinger. On 14 May 1955, he died in South River, Raphine, Rockbridge Co., VA. VA Cert. of Death #12140.
