Albert Schram, 91, a resident of Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, and formerly of Route 1, Eldorado, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 1988, at the home. He was born Dec. 7, 1896, in Glidden, to Andrew and Theresa Schram. On Nov. 25, 1922, he married Rose Drecksler in Phillips. Mr. Schram farmed in Fond du Lac County for 50 years. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Woodhull, and the American Legion Post where served as past commander and a past member of the firing squad. , He was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his wife: two daughters, Rose Steers and her husband Walter of Fox Lake, and Betty Mumm and her husband John of Milwaukee; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Agnes Chekel of California, and Betty Ryan of Fox Lake. Preceding him in death were 10 brothers and sisters. 'Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Twohig Funeral Home, Fond du Lac, and at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, Woodhull. The Rev. Robert McCormick will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
