Mrs. Katie L. (Rohrbach) Seip, wife of J. Robert Seip, Longswamp, Mertztown R. 1, died Friday night in Allentown hospital at the age of 74. She had been in ill health four weeks and was hospitalized 12 days. Mrs. Rohrbach was born in Berks county, a daughter of the late Henry and Hanah (Butz) Rohrbach, and before her marriage was a dressmaker. She was a member of the Reformed wing of Longswamp church and of the Home department of the Sunday school there as well as a charter member of the Ladies of the Golden eagle, East Greenville. In addition to her husband she leaves a niece, Margaret, wife of Gleason Wilson, Jonesboro, Me., who was reared as a member of the family, and the following brothers and sisters: William Rohrbach, Alburtis; Uriah Rohrbach, Lynndale; Dr. H. O. Rohrbach, Danielsville; Mrs. Fred Wiley, Uwchland, Chester county, and Mrs. Henry Reese, Pennsburg. She was preceded in death by a son, Harold Seip, three brothers and three sisters.
