Legacy

Joseph was born and raised in Altoona, PA. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Joseph earned his BS degree from St. Francis College and his MS from Penn State in
Organic Chemistry. Joseph was a Research Chemist for Mobil Oil in Paulsboro for 38 years. He dedicated 50 years as Treasurer to the East Greenwich Twp. Public Library, affectionately known as "Grandpa's Library" to his family. His love of reading was
evident when he shared his wealth of knowledge with family and associates. This was also portrayed in any project he was involved with.

Beloved Husband of Rosemary (nee Werth) of 65 years. Devoted Father of Marian (Leonard) Smith, Joan (John) Tierno, Robert (Linda) Wehrle, Lois (Benedict) Carrozza, Rosalie (Louis) Konowal, Thomas (Susan) Wehrle and Donna (Frank) Piarulli.
Dear Brother of the late Margaret Mary, John and Thomas O. Loving grandfather of 17 and great grandfather of 13.

Visitation Friday 6:30 PM—9 PM in McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, NJ.

Funeral Mass Saturday 10:30AM in The Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main St., Mantua, NJ. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
