Mrs.J.D.Adams Dies
At Age Of Ninety

Mrs. Lida Frances Bond Adams, 90, widow of J.D. Adams, died at 1 a.m. at the Good Samaritan hospital, Lexington, Sunday, following an illness of a month. She was a native of Scott County; and was a daughter of the late John C and Frances E. Bond. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Baptist Church and was a past matron of the Stamping Ground Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a daughter , Mrs. Ora N. Jameson, Stamping Ground; two sons, John H. Tilford, Stamping Ground and George M. Tilford, Wichita, Kansas; three stepsons, George Adams, Texas, W.D. and Eugene Adams, Stamping Ground, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning a the Stamping Ground Baptist Church, with the pastor, the Rev, E.L. Branham, and the Rev. E.R. Overly,of the Christian church, officiating. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery.
Pallbearers were T.Russell Hill, Jake Boyers, R.A.Jameson, George Gains, E.G. Davis and Roy Hester. Honorary bearers will be members of the board of deacons of the Baptist church.
