Mr. Skipworth was preceded in death by his first wife, Agnes Myrick Skipworth; parents, Paul and Ethel Skipworth; brother, Glen Skipworth; and son-in-law, Tim Woods.
He was a member and past deacon of Center Star Church of Christ. He was retired with TVA and a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Signa Belue Skipworth; children, Larry Skipworth (Wanda) and Beverly Woods; stepson, Hegan Belue (Eve); brother, J.W. Skipworth (Mavoline); six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank his caregivers during his illness at home.
