Obituary of Benny Gene Gray
Mr. Benny G. Gray, 60, born July 23, 1946, a life long resident of "The Point" passed away Tuesday August 22,2006 at his home in Biloxi, MS with a massive heart attack. Mr. Gray was a member of Tabernacle Bapitst Church of D'Iberville. A Mason, member of Magnolia Lodge 120, long time musician on the coast, fisherman, and a bus driver for many country music stars in Nashville, Tennesse with celebrity tours.
He is preceded in death by his father, John T. Gray, two sons, David Thomas and Benny Jr., a daughter Brandi Leigh and a grandson, William (little Will) Franklin.
Mr. Gray is also the brother of Billy, Belton and Barry Gray who went missing from an oystering trip February 4, 1966.
He is survived by his mother, Lillian Gray of St. Martin, spouse of 26 years, Paulette Stork~Gray, four sons, Darrell Gray of Biloxi, Wayne Gray and wife Wanda of Woolmarket, Jeffery Gray and Brandon Gray and his wife Melissa, all of Biloxi; two daughters, Debra Franklin of Biloxi, Tina Bond of Pass Christian, two stepsons, Armond and Michael Broussard both of Biloxi; three stepdaughters, Cassie Lafoon, Mona Hester and Yvette Patricelli all of Biloxi. Thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchldren, one due August 31; six step great grandchldren, two brothers, Bobby Gray and his wife Linda, Pete Gray and wife Patty all of St. Martin; one sister, Brenda Lovelace and husband Marion.
Bennie was a cherished 'Paw~Paw' to all his grandchildren, and especially close to his niece Missy. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday August 26, 2006 at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home at the Howard Avenue Chapel in Biloxi, from 12:00 until 2:00 P.M. Services will begin at 2:00 P.M., with graveside services immediately following at D'Iberville Memorial park.
Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Howard Avenue Chapel is handling the arrangements.

Note: When Bennie Gray was younger he lived in the Woolmarket Community, Harrison County, Mississipp on Highway 67 (Once called Hwy 55). He attended school at Woolmarket School, Woolmarket Community.
