John Barton was born in England in 1908. When he was about 3 years old his family moved to Canada where he grew up . Later when he was a grown man he moved to California where he worked he worked with young peoples later he met and married my Great Aunt Ruth Malarsky. They settled in LaHabra, California. My Great Aunts family was from Russia and Finland ,my Great Aunt was born in Detroit Michigan after her family immigrated from Russia.At this time I'm not sure where in England he was born. He died of a heart attack in Texas visiting his friend. He was brought back to LaHabra for his funeral and burial. I will always remember the homemade strawberry short cake Aunty would make for us while we watched baseball. We had some great memories. Aunty and Uncles first child died his name was Albert.
