Mrs. Charlotte Inez Allen, 84, of 1600 Ben Hadden Road, Stapleton, Georgia, entered into rest Friday, September 12, 1997, at the Jefferson County Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Reedy Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. John Richards officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Glen Hadden, Ben Clements, Warren Allen, Brinson Linnenkohl, James Roger and Aaron Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the church. She was a native of Glascock County, was a homemaker and a member of Reedy Creek Baptist Church, where she served as church clerk and taught Sunday School for 30 years, and she was a member of the Joy Adult Ladies Sunday School Class. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Joyce A. Sheppard, Thomson, Ga., Evelyn A. Argo, Avera, Ga., and Mrs. Barbara A. Johnson, Wrens; two sons, Grady Robert Allen, Lilburn, and Lester Hoyt Allen, Stapleton, Ga.; a brother, Warren Linnenkohl, North Augusta, S.C.; and seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. James and Lowe Funeral Home.
