Mr. Albert Freeman Allen, 91, of Route 1, Box 286, Gibson, Georgia, entered into rest Tuesday, October 15, 1991, at McDuffie County Hospital, Thomson. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at M.W. Callaway and Sons Funeral Home, Wrens, with the Revs. Curtis Thigpen and Owen Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in Reedy Creek Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Mr. Allen, a native of Jefferson County, had retired as a farmer and attended Wrens Bible Chapel. Survivors include three daughters, Louise Allen, Wrens, Esther McKie, North Augusta, and Ruth Herring, Stuarts Draft, Va.; four sons, Watson Allen, Beech Island, S.C., Warren Allen and John Allen, both of Wrens, and Aaron Allen, Jonesboro; a brother, Eugene Allen, Wrens; three sisters, Hattie Rogers, Stapleton, and Alma Clements and Elsie Usry, both of Wrens; and 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
