The Paris News, Monday, March 23, 2015, page 3 - Mrs. Ruth Morris, age 86, formerly of Morris Chapel Community, died today in Heritage Care Nursing Home. Graveside funeral services are scheduled for 6 p.m. tonight in Morris Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Daniels officiating. Services are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. Mrs. Morris was born Oct. 19, 1928, in Lamar County, the daughter of Thomas and Willie Slaton Wright. She married William (Rass) Morris June 29, 1944. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2012. She was also preceded in death by a son, Bill Morris Jr., on Aug. 2, 2012. Survivors include three children; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren
