Pete Cundiff, 69, returned home to the Lord on December 27, 2010 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
He was born September 4, 1941 to Chester Cundiff and Willie Lavone Bridenstine in Perkins, Oklahoma. He was a loving husband, father and "Papa" to Hailey Lorraine Harrison, Jordan Ruth Richardson and great-grandson, Jerald Jayden Harrison. He enjoyed playing music, spending time with family and talking with the Lord. He was a great friend to many, including his closest friend of thirty years, Simon Thomas Jr.
He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Faye Lorraine Cundiff and brother, Tony Cundiff.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa O. Cundiff, son, Michael Wayne Cundiff, daughter, Sherri Lorraine Cundiff-Wilson, granddaughters, Hailey Lorraine Harrison and Jordan Ruth Richardson, grandson-in-law, Jerald Harrison, and great-grandson, Jerald Jayden Harrison. He is also survived by his sister, Susie and husband Bill Mote, sister, Katie and husband, Stan Heath of Sapulpa, sister, Sandy and husband, Keith Marshall, brother, Kenny and wife, Debbie Cundiff, brother, Alan Cundiff and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
His graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Oak Grove Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
