Victor, N. Y. - George S. Collins died at his home in the western part of this village on Monday, aged 76 years. He leaves a wife, two daughters, two sons and a sister. The funeral was held at the house on Wednesday afternoon.
Rochester D&C, Wednesday, April 21, 1897:
George S. Collins, an aged resident of Victor, was found dead in his bed on Monday morning, at his home in the western part of that town. Mr. Collins had been in failing health for some time, and his death was the result of heart disease. His age was 76 years. He leaves a wife and four children, Adelbert and Arthur Collins, Mrs. Eugene Thompson and a daughter still living at home.
