Elizabeth Louise Busch Carter passed away on January 8, 2011. Born January 25, 1929, she was the youngest and longest surviving of four girls born in Houston, TX, to Alma Belbeze Busch and Peter Otto Busch. Elizabeth will be remembered for her great sense of humor, strong will, artistic talent and her gracious volunteer work. Elizabeth is survived by her three children; Richard and wife, Reda; Mark and wife, Rosemary; and Aileen and husband, Robert; four grandchildren, Michael, Beth, Sarah and Ross; one great grandson, Brendyn as well as other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband Lindsay and her granddaughter Laura. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 12 from 6-9 p.m. at Forest Park Westheimer with a Rosary at 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 13 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 625 Nottingham Oaks, Houston, TX. Interment will follow immediately at Forest Park Westheimer. Those who wish may make memorial donations in lieu of flowers to: Sisters of the Incarnate Word, c/o Sr. Francesca Kearns, P.O. Box 230969, Houston, TX 77223-0969.
