Vista was my great aunt and made the best biscuits that I ever ate. I have fond memories of visiting them at their farm and watching her cook as we sat at the kitchen table. They had a water pail & dipper on a table by the back door-for drinks of water and also to put in the wash pan to wash hands with bars of lye soap. When you finished washing up, the pan full of dirty water was tossed out into the backyard.
