Reuben B. Barwick, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, died Wednesday, October 30, 1996. He is survived by his son, Bernard Ray Reicks and wife, Suzy of Fremond, CA; niece, Barbara Haggard and husband, Mike of Commerce City, CO; grandsons Randy and Rusty Lanear and Jason Reicks, four great grandchildren; also many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Olive Barwick. Mrs. Barwick has the oldest Ham Operator License in New Mexico and was very proud to be able to teach Morse code. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served in WWII. Mr. Barwick retired from Sandia National Labs after 26 years. Services will be held Monday at French Mortuary.
