LENA -- Mrs. Robert Kempert died in a Freeport hospital today.

The former Isabelle Uecker was born in Lena, Nov. 3, 1895, daughter of Gustav and Augusta Uecker. On Nov. 28, 1917, she married Robert W. Kempert at Lena.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church of Lena.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Burdette (Eldora) Rice and Mrs. Ernest C. (Dorothy) Bennett both of Lena; two sisters, Miss Rose Uecker and Mrs. Effa Koppean, both of Lena; a brother Harold of Warren; and three grandchildren. Two children proceeded her in death.

Funeral service will be Friday at 2 p.m. (CST) in St. John's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Harold W. Hitzeman, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Freeport.

Friends may call at the Leamon Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Thursday and until 11 a.m. Friday.

Contributions may be made to the church fund.
