John Larue one of the oldest settlers in this part of the state died at his
home near Downey, Iowa, last Thursday at 3 P.M. after a severe illness of only
a few days, an unusually large procession of friends and relatives attended
the funeral services on Saturday, his remains were placed in Linn Grove
cemetery.
