Euna passed away in Muskogee, Oklahoma, on Friday, December 3, 2010. She was born October 31, 1936 in Sugden, Oklahoma to Mynard and Cathryn (Reed) Marshall.

She was a graduate of Ponca City High School. She went on to earn an Associates degree. She married Walter Eaton Sr., on March 17, 1960 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on October 18, 1996. Euna worked as a counselor at Connors Correctional Facility. She spent most of her life in the Hominy Area.

Euna is survived by her children: Cindy Crews and husband Shane of Wagoner, Oklahoma; Lawrence Eaton and wife Deonna of Madison, Kansas, Walter Eaton and wife Amy of Ponca City, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; two sisters: Jimmie Sue of Muskogee; and Glen Dale of Deer Park, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Marcia, a son David Burright and a brother Melvin Marshall.

Funeral Services for Euna Artheria Eaton, 74, of Hominy, Oklahoma, were held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, December 6, 2010 at Powell Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dave Kelly officiating.

Internment in the A.J. Powell Cemetery in Hominy, Oklahoma was under the direction of Powell Funeral Home. Casket bearers for the service were Jason Hill, Joel Hill, Tony Smith, Tim Smith, Lawrence Eaton and Walter Eaton. Musical selections for the service were "In the Garden", "Amazing Grace", and "Sweet Hour of Prayer".
